Each quilled piece is glued and placed on the white background using a tweezer.
I made this piece because I love giraffes and my grandson Adam shares this love as well. This piece is made entirely of 1” x 1” tight rolls except for the tail, mane and leaves that he is eating.
This quilled piece is framed using a double mat and placed in a black frame.(One of my favorites!)

Home is where your “fur babies” are. For us it is our two cats, a brother and sister…Muffin and Morgan. This piece is made using 1” x 1” black and pink tight rolls and framed using a single mat in a cherry stained frame.

Who can resist an ice-cream cone? These flavors are chocolate and raspberry! Again I used 1” X 1” in dark brown and pink for the scoops of ice-cream and two different shades of brown for the cone. Framed with no mat using a cherry stained frame.

This piece was inspired by Kalmbach Memorial Park! There is a stream flowing through the park, a pine forest, beautiful trails…a truly beautiful park here in Macungie off of Cotton Street!! If in this area…a visit is highly recommended!! This forest pine is made with green and dark brown 1” x 1” tight rolls.
Framed using a double mat of black and green in a cherry stained frame.
This piece makes me laugh!! I used red and blue 1” x 1” tight rolls to accomplish this delightful piece. Framed using a light blue mat in a cherry stained frame.

This is always a popular plaque with my customers when a friend has moved a distance away. The design is usually done in mauve and blue flowers. Each plaque is a little different. No two are alike.

The body of the pineapple is accomplished using quilling paper 1/8” x 6” in bronze – loose rolls pressed with my fingers into a square shape. The leaves are a deep green 1/8” x 8” formed into a leaf shape. Framed: 16” x 12”

This framed piece is made with pink quilling paper 1/8” x 1” tight rolls for the bow and 1/8” x 1” formed “S” scroll for the ballet slippers.

This piece would look great hanging in anyone’s kitchen! The cherries are made with 1/8” x 48” red quilling paper and formed into dimensional tight rolls. The stems are 1/8” x 1” brown quilling paper rolled tightly and the leaves are 1/8” x 1” quilling paper formed into tight rolls or tear drops. The pears are shaded in gold, green and mauve 1 1/2” x 1/8”. The stems are 1/8” x 1” brown quilling paper of tight rolls and the branches are 1/8” x 3” brown quilling paper formed into a loose roll
The tree trunk and branches are all made with brown 1/8” x 1” quilling paper rolled into tight rolls. The leaves are 1/8” x 6” green quilling paper shaped into a tear drop and the fruit is 1/8” x 18” red quilling paper formed into tight dimensional circles.

Mat: Double Mat of Blue
The hydrangea is formed from a template. The center is a 1/8” x 2 1/2” blue quilling paper formed into a tight roll for the center of each petal. The stems are 1/8” x 1” using caladon green to form tight rolls. The leaves are 1/8” x 8” in deep green quilling paper rolled into a loose roll and pressed into a tear drop.

The acorns lower section is formed using light brown quilling paper 1/16”x 1” formed in a tight roll and the top of the acorn is a dark brown quilling paper also using 1/16” x 1” tight rolls. The oak leaves are 1/8” x 1” using gold, dark green, and rusty brown quilling paper into tight rolls.

Mat: Williamsburg Green
All the quilling on these four plaques is accomplished with 1/8” x 1” black quilling paper of tight rolls.
Framed: 4 individual frames depicting the 4 Chinese symbols listed each 5” x 5”

If you have a friend that loves gardening he or she will thoroughly be delighted with this quilled piece! This garden bench is surrounded with paper quilled flowers using red roses, pink geraniums and sunflowers. The bench itself is made by using 1/8” x 1” tight rolls.
Framed: 8” x 8”
Mat: French Blue
The wheat is formed using 1/8” x 1 1/2” light brown quilling paper and forming a tear drop shape. The leaves are developed using 1/8” x 1” light brown quilling paper formed into tight rolls and stems are formed using light brown quilling paper measuring 1/16” x 1” also a tight roll. This design catches everyone’s eye through its simplicity. This piece has a black background.
Framed: 12” x 12” Painted Black
Mat: Tan with a black core
The Lily of the Valley blooms are made using 1/8” x 1 1/2 “ or 2” soft yellow quilling paper formed into a bead shape. The leaves are 1/8” x 1 1/2” seafoam quilling paper formed into a tear drop with meadow green inserted to look like the vein of the leaf. This plaque could be done with pink flowers as well.
