How Paper Petites Was Born

I have been quilling for 43 years. I took one quilling class at a local craft store and I fell in love with this form of art. I made quilled items from kits that were readily available at that time. The items I made went to friends and family until someone asked me to be in their boutique. I realized that I could make a little money from this hobby that I loved. Thus Paper Petites was born in 1983….34 years ago.

We Are Involved

Juried member of The Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen since 1988.
State Juried member of The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen since 1995.
A member of The North American Quilling Guild since 1999.
A member of The Quilling Guild of England since 1999.
I was in a paper show called Paper Cuts-The Art of Contemporary Paper…I had two framed pieces touring throughout the USA from October 2004 to October 2007. Thirty paper artists were selected for this honor!

We Are Proud Of Our Work

The items that I make are personally designed and created three dimensional, not made from pre-designed kits. I offer a new Christmas tree ornament every year plus a variety of framed items and floral pieces. I love gardening and it is definitely apparent in my quilling scenes.

My work may be tedious at times-cutting, curling, gluing tiny pieces of special weight quilling paper…1/16”, 1/8”, 1/4” in width into three imensional designs. However,

the handmade finished pieces and the ability to share them and my craft with others is very rewarding. I have many loyal customers who have become dear friends!
